Much like Wednesdays and the color pink, some things are just meant to go together; we like to say the same about Elizabeth Beggs Spruill (shown above, right) and Leticia Lopez, two transplants tackling the opening of brand-new Bring It OM Yoga at Andrews Square in December to join healthy hot spots like Food for Balance.
“Over the last few years, we both focused on our Buckhead community. This is where our clientele and friends are located, so it was very important for us to be accessible to them,” says Lopez. “Also, Buckhead is the perfect combination of power and mindfulness.” Similarly, the team of two are a seemingly perfect combination of hustle and harmony (their friendship dates back a decade). “We have practiced and taught together at some amazing studios around Atlanta and have built a bond that’s like a sisterhood,” says Beggs Spruill of Lopez. “We complement each other’s strengths, but, more importantly, we share the same vision and goal.”
That vision looks like a fresh 2,400-square-foot studio sporting an industrial-chic vibe, inspired by fitness boutiques in New York City and L.A., where yogis can spot a spacious room for finding their Zen, state-of-the-art lockers, snazzy showers and, of course, a trendy retail shop for stocking up on athleisure. The duo doesn’t plan on limiting their talents, though, which is why Atlanta’s getting more than just a power yoga studio: Think Budokon-infused yoga and Restorative yoga classes to boot, with more offerings underway. Says Beggs Spruill, “Our vision is simple: sharing our love for yoga with the world.” We’ll strike a warrior pose to that. @bringitomyoga_; @beggsyoga; @letisan
