Veronica Beard's debut Atlanta Storefront adds a welcome dash of sparkle and design to Buckhead Village.
Who says a suit only belongs in a man’s wardrobe? Sisters-in-law power duo Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard are breaking this mold with their chic lifestyle brand, Veronica Beard (@veronicabeard). And luckily for Atlanta girl bosses, Veronica Beard’s selection of elegant womenswear will now be right at their fingertips as the brand has a brand-new location in Buckhead Village. With this being the duo’s second stand-alone boutique in the Southeast, Miele Beard and Swanson Beard are excited to elevate women’s wardrobes all across the city. “We know the Atlanta woman wants to get dressed and go out,” Miele Beard says. “So it was time to meet her where she is.”
Both from different careers and backgrounds, the Beard sisters took inspiration from their past lives to come together to create a brand that would make women feel uplifted in their day-to-day workwear. A woman’s “uniform,” as the sisters put it, is vital to her confidence. Just as a man looks sharp in his suit, the Beard sisters believe that the working woman is just as entitled to always looking and feeling her best. “We want to give women a uniform,“ shares Swanson. “We want her to feel great dropping off the kids at school, grabbing coffee, catching a cab—all on her way to the office.” From feminine floral dresses to tailored pants perfect for creating a pristine and polished look, Veronica Beard has endless options for Atlanta boss babes to choose from when building their uniforms. The sisters’ ultimate uniform staple? The Dickey jacket—a chic layering piece traditionally designed for men, but perfect for spicing up a woman’s everyday look. “We call it the Wonder Woman cape because wherever you’re going, it transforms your outfit, making it legit and sexy with ease,” notes Miele Beard. “You can instantly change and style your look with different Dickeys.”
A hustling and bustling hot spot in the community, Buckhead Village is the perfect place for Veronica Beard to lure in Atlanta’s gals on the go. The brand will fit right in among the lively and modern atmosphere that Buckhead Village has to offer, with diverse shopping and culinary experiences, wide-open communal spaces, vibrant public art and more. And along with their stylish contribution to the Village’s diverse retail climate, the sisters are also giving back to the community in other ways through their #VBGivesBack initiative. Each quarter, Veronica Beard partners with a new organization, donating a portion of every online sale to that partner, along with hosting in-store #VBGivesBack days. “I am so excited to bring VBGB to Atlanta and work with local women who are making an impact in the community,”shares Miele Beard. “This means so much to who we are as a brand.”
