Cult-favorite luxury consignment shop The RealReal sets up permanent digs in Buckhead Village.
Unless you’re living under a rock or protesting the fashion industry, you’ve heard about the infamous consignment store The RealReal (@therealreal). Now, the once-distant online fashion mecca opens up shop in A-town with a 3,200-square-foot brick-and-mortar location at Buckhead Village. “In Atlanta there’s always something to do,” says Ketoria Holmes, head of shop for The RealReal Atlanta. “Now that people are reemerging from the pandemic, I believe Atlanta shoppers are turning to accessories like shoes—especially a pair of killer pumps—and handbags to elevate and add something fun to their going-out outfits,” adds the fashion guru. Housing brands like Gucci, Brunello Cucinelli and Stella McCartney—plus Atlanta bestsellers like Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Cartier and Tiffany & Co.—the new storefront offers men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing and shoes, plus fine jewelry and watches, home and art, and more. The Buckhead Village location will also showcase two luxury consignment offices for The RealReal, touted as the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated resale luxury goods. “Our goal is to make selling as easy as possible for our consignors,” notes Holmes. “And, as with all of our stores, we refresh items daily at The RealReal Atlanta, meaning each visit is a new opportunity to discover,” adds the head of shop. An excuse to shop every day? Now that’s something we can get behind.
