This elevated, eco-friendly salon is changing the nail game one toxin-free mani at a time.
Free-standing pedicure bowls provide a sanitary and luxe experience
If there’s one thing the global pandemic taught us, it is to prioritize health and wellness. Thanks to The Water Room (@thewaterroomofficial), ATL’s first fume- and toxic-free nail salon, we no longer have to lower our standards for the sake of a posh polish job. The natural nail hub, with a prime Buckhead location on Roswell Road, unites eco-minded beauty lovers by placing the health of clients, employees and the environment at the forefront.
The salon has an array of polish options, as well as a choice of natural buff or shiny finish.
Each step of The Water Bar experience was developed to optimize health and hygiene, including free-standing pedicure bowls to replace the standard piped whirlpool stations typical of most salons, and stainless steel tools, which are required to go through a three-step sanitation process, including sterilization in a medical grade autoclave. Even the salon’s in-house products are vetted for harmful ingredients and must meet a special criteria ensuring they are cruelty-free, gluten-free and vegan.
As for the nail polish, it’s top of the line, free from the toxic ingredients commonly found in mainstream polish and with enough color options to help you nail your Pinterest-inspired mani. The Water Room’s unmatched standards are matched with its chic interiors and elevated services. Aromatherapy, remineralization foot soaks, organic hot oil treatments and noise-canceling headphones with guided meditation are but a few of the luxuries offered to clients. Added bonus: Natural lighting and minimalist design encourages optimal relaxation.
With so much to offer, the salon is sure to join its Buckhead Court neighbors—think Superica, DTOX and Stellar Bodies—on the list of local favorites.
Products by local-owned small businesses are available for purchase, including lip balms, lotions, chic masks and more.
