A hit on the BeltLine is now coming to Buckhead Village.
Aaron Mattion and Harold Brinkley
Smoked old fashioned
Rising restaurateur Aaron Mattison partnered with Harold Brinkley, owner of The James Room (@thejamesroom) on the BeltLine, to create an expanded location in Buckhead Village that will feature more space to accommodate the exploding popularity of the dual-functioning establishment. Upon entry, an upscale coffee shop takes your gaze. The cafe intriguingly offers unique flavors such as sea salt lavender and rosemary sage, or you can opt for a classic vanilla or caramel addition to your joe if you fancy. A few paces away is an inconspicuous door disguised as a bookcase, leading to the speakeasy area equipped with a peculiar mood. The atmosphere feels intimate yet communal, and invokes a sense of leisure. The fine leathers and premium seating upgrade your typical lounge visit to an elevated, exclusive treat. “The James Room has created a reputation for its sophisticated modern take on the classic speakeasy concept, and we are excited to build on it as we expand to Buckhead,” shares Mattison. Anticipate decadent small plates that taste even better than they sound, from a variety of charcuterie offerings to the balsamic raspberry lamb chops. “Atlantans can expect The James Room to be a place where they can leave their stresses at the door and immerse in the energetic vibrations of our chic indoor space or catch some moon rays on our rooftop patio,” exclaims Brinkley. “We aim to pry the basic bar mixed drinks out of people’s hands and replace them with more robust, more complex and more conversation-worthy cocktails. With our excruciatingly detailed musical programming, cozy lighting schemes and mature design aesthetics, expect The James Room Buckhead to be a complete vibe!” Experience an environment unable to be duplicated at this posh luxury cocktail speakeasy, now located in Buckhead.
