Between its new nail salon and hair bar, this A-Town beauty destination has you fully covered for your end-of-summer glow-up.
Sugarcoat at The Forum has modern and airy interiors thoughtfully designed by Atlanta-based firm.
Nail art has made an even bigger comeback than Gossip Girl this summer, and it isn’t hard to see why. Fun swirls, neon colorblocking and modern takes on French tips all make for the perfect finishing touch to any summer outfit. However, not every nail tech is down for the new trend, and it can be difficult to find a salon that nails it every time (pun intended). Luckily, the newly bowed Sugarcoat (@sugarcoatbeauty) at The Forum on Peachtree Parkway does just that. “We chose The Forum on Peachtree Parkway because we want to expand and serve the Atlanta community outside of the perimeter,” shares owner Peiru Kim.
Sugarcoat’s 2,600 square feet of airy and contemporary space fits right in with The Forum’s list of luxe retailers such as Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. Atlanta-based design firm LBID outfitted the salon, achieving an open, inviting and modern aesthetic with the help of cabinetry by Pedini Atlanta. Sugarcoat is known for its attention to detail and commitment to excellence. “Our talented team of nail artists care about and honor their craft,” shares Kim. “We love new colors and innovations in our business. We strive to bring the best products to our clients.” Between the relaxing ambiance and top-notch nail design talent, we think a mani-pedi is in order.
Sugarcoat’s color wall has extensive choices.
Let Your Hair Down
When Sugarcoat preaches its mission to care for its community from head to toe, it truly means from head to toe, as its new haircare services provide the same level of indulgent attention to your locks as it does your nails. The newly opened Hair Bar by Sugarcoat is a modern hair salon featuring talented stylists who offer a full range of services, including hair extensions and scalp massages. “Our goal is to provide the best haircare services in the heart of Buckhead,” says owner Peiru Kim. Hair Bar’s interiors mirror those of Sugarcoat, meaning they bring all the spalike vibes. The minimalistic, modern and inviting space provides the perfect backdrop for the stylists to work their color, cut or styling magic.
