“I wanted to create a line that caters to daughters, mothers and grandmothers [alike],” shares local fashion designer Mollie Burch.
University of Virginia alums and dynamic design duo Mollie Burch and Taylor Richardson are brightening up Atlanta’s style scene with CROSBY by Mollie Burch, a new line of contemporary apparel made just for the ladies. With Burch leading the collection’s design and Richardson tying up the business end of things, the pair have turned their fashionable dreams into reality through breezy tanks, blouses, dresses and scarves. The best part? The collection is marked by Burch’s one-of-a-kind patterns, which she paints or draws before transferring onto a screen to play with color and sizing. “CROSBY is definitely distinguished by our custom prints,” says Burch. “They are the bread and butter of our company and what people get most excited about.” But that’s not the only thing setting this local brand apart—the company has partnered with nonprofits Starfish Project and Wellspring Living, which aim to shine a light on the alarming issue of sex trafficking in Atlanta. “We want to be able to use our talents to best benefit and help organizations that support these women,” shares Burch. The result? The moola raised from a recent trunk show provided 10 women with counseling for a whole year. Now, that’s a mission we can get behind! $128-$264, @crosbybymollieburch
