Just when we thought the team behind Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante and Forza Storico couldn’t get any better, they just did with their brand-new wine bar coming to Buckhead Village.
Grab a friend and catch up over Storico Vino’s meat and cheese pairings alfresco or inside.
It’s Thursday at 6 o’clock. You and your friends check your reservation app, and guess what? Your reservation has been pushed back to 9. No way. Canceled. As you panic-brainstorm where you and the gals can catch up and catch a buzz, look no further than Storico Vino. What started as a virtual wine shop in July has now found a home in Buckhead Village, in a space where, ironically, an Italian coffee shop once lived. This concept has been on the books for a while for owners Pietro Gianni, Stephen Peterson and chef Michael Patrick, who have teamed up with Jamestown for the project. Inside, expect an expansive bar with high-tops and a large covered patio for ample seating to enjoy dining alfresco. Along with the expected elaborate wine list, a cocktail list and a locally sourced food menu reflecting the Italian way of dining round out the docket. Or if girls’ night in is more your jam, wines at Storico Vino will be available for purchase online or for pickup at its Buckhead hub. Do as the Italians do and choose from its menu of savory charcuterie boards, panini, pastas and salads, and wash it all down with a good sangiovese wine—at home or at Storico Vino’s new space that honors and celebrates the hallowed tradition and history of Italian wine culture. 3059 Peachtree Road NE, @storicovino
