If you haven’t listened to us this far into the issue, Spring is here, which means we are all on the hunt for the perfect golden-hour patio. You’re in luck. Southern Proper Hospitality group (@southernproperhospitality) is bursting at the seams with patios scattered all throughout Atlanta, so whichever neighborhood you choose to explore on a night out, you know you can start with a drink, basking in the mild Spring weather. While they are known for a variety of delicious cuisines, cocktails and of course, outdoor and indoor aesthetics, each restaurant offers an experience that simultaneously complements and sets it apart from the other restaurants. We know that Gypsy Kitchen is a Buckhead Village staple for its perfect outdoor hangout and a prime spot for people watching. Pop in next door to The Southern Gentleman, now serving lunch, and see what they have to offer. A new season means the introduction of “Patio Parties” every Thursday at The Big Ketch with live music and rotating menus so no party is the same. The Big Ketch patio vibes will definitely have you booking your next beach trip. Picture Ocean & Acre’s perfect cocktails and a chilled lobster roll where you can also find a similar coastal vibe. At Tin Lizzy’s, always a crowd pleaser, their margs will wet your palette for a fun friday pickme- up in their vibrant outdoor setting. Probably one of their more well-known patios is at none other than Chido & Padres. The expansive, open-air patio takes advantage of the sweet scent of magnolias that wafts through the air as you enjoy a laid back and comfortable evening. “Each of their patios creates an escape from the everyday,” says Daniela Alvarez, marketing director for the restaurant group. Settle in and sip we shall!
