Because ATL’s night owls need a place to perch, we’ve rounded up six hot spots worth paying a visit after-hours for blow-you-away bites and oh-so-savory sips. Indulge at your own risk.
/ For the late-nighters near Inman Park, BeetleCat (@beetlecatatl) is a must. Chef Andrew Isabella says the menu is “slutty, gluttonous, over-the-top and messy”—just take the crispy oyster burger, for example, overflowing with melted American cheese, Thousand Island sauce and pickles for added flavor.

/ Inside crowd-favorite Punch Bowl Social (@punchbowlsocial) at The Battery Atlanta, the drinks seem to get stronger as the night goes on. Ask the bartender to mix you up a Boulevardier made with Old Overholt rye whiskey, Campari and Punt e Mes vermouth—then order the playfully named A Pig, A Duck, and Some Cheese Walk Into A Bar for the table.

/ Westside’s weekenders should make a postmidnight pit stop at O-Ku (@okuatlanta) for top-notch sushi to pair with the latest gossip. Says executive chef Jack Fang, “The Black Magic Hakozushi reigns supreme as the most-ordered dish on our late-night menu.” Well, when in West Midtown…

/ If you’re looking to indulge in something a little—or a lot—sweeter, the 12-layer chocolate cake at Marcel (@marcelatlanta) is a no-brainer. Pulling inspo from New York-based Strip House’s 24-layer chocolate cake, executive pastry chef Chrysta Poulos says her iteration is “decadent and over-the-top. Each slice weighs around 2 pounds!”

/ At The Blind Pig Parlour Bar (@theblindpigparlourbar) hidden behind the walls of Chido & Padre’s, order the Peter Piper (think a dirty martini, but with red onion pickling juice instead of olive brine). Says Head Mixologist Chase Lovin, “I suggest pairing this with our lobster mac ’n’ cheese that’s creamy and indulgent.”

/ Get a head start on curing any regret the next day by ordering the Hangover Fries off the late-night menu that’s on offer until 2am at Hampton + Hudson (@hamptonhudson). Loaded with black beans and beef chili, the mouthwatering masterpiece is covered with queso and topped off with a sunny-side egg.
