Local Atlanta photographer Patrick Heagney debuted his carefully curated body of work at Kai Lin Art, and we're itching to tell you all about it.

Reverie features the latest work from photographer Patrick Heagney’s (@ patrickheagney) ongoing series Chimera. The work showcases images representing a visual metaphor for how we remember. “The inspiration for this body of work came from my fascination with memory—how we form them, how they change with time and all the different meanings they hold for us,” says Heagney.
While curating the exhibition, Heagney first created hundreds of images and then narrowed them down, with the help of Kai Lin Art (@kailinart) gallerist Yu-Kai Lin. When Heagney describes the collection, he says there is a lot of movement as the viewer is able to see multiple, overlapping perspectives of subjects that, when combined, make something great. “I enjoyed looking through all of the work, getting to hone in on the little details that make the difference between an interesting piece and a great piece,” he shares. “My favorite part was seeing the finished selection all together. There's something really satisfying about seeing the culmination of months of work hanging on the wall and feeling confident that it looks amazing.”
