Head to ADAC’s 33rd annual sample sale May 13 to 15 to score discount finds from top designers like Southern Design Source.
Feel that magnetic pull toward Buckhead? We do too. And let’s just say it has a little something to do with the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center—a John C. Portman Jr.-designed Shangri-La for all things decorative and decadent. Get in on the action May 13 to 15, when ADAC unveils its 33rd annual sample sale, a three-day event known to beguile the most devoted bargain hunters around. Showroom proprietors lug their finest off-season wares—furniture, lighting accessories, rugs, outdoor accoutrements—to the parking lot, marking price tags down to crazy discounts. Find sumptuous Peacock Alley linens, Georgia-made Tritter Feefer painted furniture (from lacquered desks to contemporary chests) and goodies from Holland & Company/MacRae (which—blessed be—stocks two of our faves, Lucy Smith and Julian Chichester). The sale’s biggest days are Friday and Saturday, so arrive early (the whole shebang starts at 9am), or feel free to shop till late (everything shuts down at 6pm). Return Sunday as ADACers push their last loot off the lot from 10am to 2pm because everything must go—including you, to Peachtree Hills! Just don’t forget to tag all your fab finds: #ADACSampleSale.
