Now open at the Interlock, Puttshack brings out the inner child in all of us—with an added adult twist.
The quirky main dining room is just one of the two-story space’s many seating and lounge areas.
From the minds behind Topgolf comes ATL’s hot new weekend hangout designed to make you feel like a kid again, but with all of the perks of being an adult (cough, booze). Originated in London, Puttshack combines an upscale, tech-infused mini-golf experience with indulgent fare and an extensive bar menu. Taking up residence in booming West Midtown at The Interlock, the 25,000-squarefoot space spans two floors and features four tech-driven (and highly competitive to appease our inner child) mini-golf courses, plus an oversize main bar and additional bar on the upper level, an expansive dining room and—where you’ll find us—an indoor-outdoor rooftop terrace. (So, just slightly different from your childhood putt-putt outings.)
But here’s the twist: The food and drink scene is comparable to some of ATL’s top restaurants. The global-inspired menu boasts elevated shareables like wood-fired Thai octopus, Korean pork bao buns, crispy popcorn cauliflower and Mediterranean lamb skewers. And, as a way to deepen its roots in the community, Puttshack partnered with Atlanta nonprofit Giving Kitchen (@givingkitchen) to pledge $1 of every purchase of Georgia Tailpipes, a locally inspired shared plate of slow-roasted pulled pork, bacon collard greens and pimento cheese spring rolls.
With a drizzle of hot honey, the Pepperoni Buzz flatbread is a must-order.
Elsewhere on the menu, you’ll also find farm-fresh salads and tasty handhelds, plus a slew of flatbreads, from the goat cheese veggies to the Pitmaster and Pepperoni Buzz. Cap it off with over-the-top desserts like a Nutella s’mores flatbread, and you’ll be hard-pressed to spend your Friday nights anywhere other than Puttshack.
From the bar menu’s Shaken... Not Stirred list, the Dirty Goose With a Twist is one of four signature martinis.
Of course, you can’t play minigolf without a beverage (the adult version, that is). Skip straight to the signature cocktail offerings, where standout sips like the Smoking Negroni, served in a smoke-filled wooden chest; spiced pineapple mezcal margarita; or the ode to Atlanta Peach Tea on Peachtree, a spin on the classic Long Island iced tea, are all must-orders.
With the new West Midtown location marking Puttshack’s foray into the U.S., the company is eager to keep the expansion coming. Chicago and Miami: You’re in for a treat later this year, but you didn’t hear it from us.
