Atlanta's hometown cocktail company introduces two new delicious bar-quality canned cocktails to its award-winning roster of liquid libations.
When I step into the summer heat, I immediately hear cocktails calling. Post Meridiem Spirit Co. (@postmeridiemspirits) offers thirst-quenching cocktails you can indulge in at home, at the office or at the pool without the extra dishes. When convenience is key and time does not permit making a nice cocktail or going to the bar, no problem. Born out of co-founders Andrew Rodbell and Charles Sain’s desire to have a nice cocktail at a concert, Post Meridiem Spirit Co.’s line of award-winning ready-to-drink cocktails are canned for convenience. The brand’s name was inspired by the magical hour when the sun begins to set, marking the conclusion of the day and the top of the evening. Though convenient, quality is never compromised. Since its official launch in 2019, the brand has prioritized creating full-strength, bar-quality sips made exclusively with real ingredients. As we enjoy get-togethers again with family and friends, Post Meridiem Spirit Co. has a cold beverage for any palate. Choose from the real lime juice margarita, double old fashioned, 1944 mai thai, lemongrass vodka gimlet and No. 4 margarita.
Now, joining the stellar roster are two juicy new additions that pack a punch: the modern classic cosmopolitan and the London dry Southside. The cosmo is a perfect portion of vodka, 100% real lime juice, 100% real cranberry juice and orange curacao. “I would put our cosmo up against a bar-made counterpart any day of the week,” shares Rodbell. And I would have to agree with him. The flavor of the cosmo will stop you in your tracks, literally. The cocktail’s ingredients are so perfectly integrated and fresh that after every sip you will gaze at the container marveling and wondering how they do it.

They introduced their much-anticipated first gin creation with the Southside, combining gin, 100% real lime juice, cane simple syrup and a hint of garden mint for a refreshing finish. “Our customers have been asking for a gin cocktail since we started and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created while staying true to our real-ingredient philosophy,” says Rodbell. All cocktails are locally made, handcrafted and perfected by a mixologist. Keep a case in your fridge for the pregame, pop them in a cooler for your pool day or enjoy a light beverage during your PM unwind. Either way, summer ’22 just got a little bit sweeter and a lot more fun.
