If you’re searching for the perfect self-care spot, head south to St. Simons Island. The seaside village is home to one of the South’s best-kept beauty secrets: One Love Organics Spa (@oneloveorganics). Surrounded by moss-draped oaks—and noteworthy neighbors like Viola’s Market (@violas_market) and Wake Up Coffee Co. (@wakeupcoffeeco)—One Love Organics Spa is more than just a spa, it’s a skincare retreat.

Pampering starts the second you walk through the pastel pink door. “Immediately, it’s relaxing,” says Suzanne LeRoux, who founded One Love Organics out of her home in 2010. Upon entrance, guests are greeted with a glass of the spa’s signature sparkling rose water and whisked away to their private treatment room, which offers views of the area’s lush coastal landscape. Inside, an expert esthetician performs an in-depth facial analysis to determine which of the spa’s unique facial therapies will be most effective for restoring your skin. Treatment options include everything from personalized peels to BioLight phototherapy, each using the same award-winning, plant-powered ingredients the beloved beauty brand is known for. And, because all of One Love Organics’ products are produced in small batches just down the street (the company owns the only Ecocert-licensed manufacturing facility for natural and organic cosmetics in the state), you can be sure that only fresh ingredients are being used on your face. For first-timers, LeRoux recommends The Beauty Queen, a 60-minute facial followed by 30 minutes of massage therapy. “It’s like a mini vacation,” she tells me.

Once your skin is treated and its luminosity restored, it’s time to post up on the property’s porch. Uninterrupted, marshland views set the scene, while fresh salt air and soft, natural lighting aid in relaxation. “You get the sense that you’re really connecting with nature,” says LeRoux. The experience is reflective of the beauty brand’s primary goal of using innovative skincare science to harness the healing power of nature: “Everything that we do is meant to be happy, based on wellness and based on education.”
One Love Organics’ plant-powered products are excellent for revealing brighter, healthier skin
Before you return to reality, you’ll want to stop by the spa’s shop to peruse the brand’s plant-powered product line. While you can’t bottle the serenity offered at this quaint St. Simons gem, you can take home a bottle of One Love Organics’ glow-inducing serums, and that’s the next best thing.
