Bright hues and a yellow neon sign that reads “It’s a Winky World” welcomes Atlanta’s makeup mavens looking to snap selfies and pose for posts inside Lenox Square’s new Winky Lux experience pop-up shop, where the New York-based beauty brand is showing off its colorful products in the most creative of ways. Think nine interactive rooms—found behind the store’s main retail space—each inspired by one of Winky Lux’s creations, from the matcha lip balm (peep the matcha-green Zen garden room) to the superpopular lavender room covered in plush pillows in shades of purple with “Namastay in bed” written on the wall, all prompted by the Cashmere Kitten eye shadow palette. Georgia-born Winky Lux co-founder Natalie Mackey labels the Buckhead outpost as a “clubhouse for the community of beauty lovers,” but it also acts as a playground for the city’s Instagrammers. From local bloggers like Sabrina Molu and Monica Awe-Etuk to ATL Girl Gang founder Morgan Sandlin, Atlanta’s influencers have invaded feeds with the shop’s interiors that practically scream Insta-bait. Act now, the pop-up will only be in Lenox Square through the end of the month for those who haven’t had the chance to get their good side shot while sitting on the watermelon couch or to snag a live video inside the disco infinity karaoke room. @winky_lux
