Nike is about to make the childhood dreams come true of sneakerheads everywhere— especially those that are also fans of the Los Angeles Clippers.
The athletic brand announced it is teaming up with Hot Wheels on the next installment of the PG 6 sneaker.
Decked out in checkerboard prints and flaming swoosh logos, the Hot Wheels collaboration pays homage to George’s love of muscle cars.
On and off the court, these shoes are sure to be a standout. Also featuring George’s No. 13 jersey number and the signature PG backwards swoosh, the shoe design also includes the Hot Wheels flames and logo.

More than just a bold, nostalgic fashion moment, the sneaker is equipped with a full-length foam midsole, a supportive lacing system and rubber along the outsole, which allows the wearer to have stability, durability and control on the court.
The Hot Wheels PG 6 sneaker will be available for purchase on Nov. 23 on Nike.com and in select retailers.
What’s more, Mattel will have a complementary release. George and Hot Wheels also created a Paul George Hot Wheels Circle Tracker to match the special edition Nike PG 6 sneaker. Also embellished with a 13, the 1:64-scale vehicle features a Spectra flame paint job and a checkered interior. It will also be available on Nov. 23 on the Mattel Creations website.
George initially announced his first signature basketball shoe, the Nike PG 1, back in August 2016, which went on to hit the market on March 3, 2017. Since then, he has released various editions of the PG 2, PG 3, PG 4 and PG 5.
The PG 6 first debuted in February 2022.
“Paul George is always striving to be better, always pushing to do more,” Nike says on its website. “The ultimate two-way player, PG is as relentless on defense as he is on offense. To be dominant at both ends of the court he needs to be comfortable no matter what direction he’s playing in. Designed with Nike’s innovative React Foam technology, the PG 6 gives George the cushioning he needs to last all four quarters. Lightweight and responsive, it’s the perfect shoe for anyone determined to raise their game.”
