The Battery Atlanta invites you to ring in 2022 at the annual New Year’s Eve Bash presented by Xfinity on Friday, Dec. 31. As one of the largest outdoor New Year’s Eve celebrations in the metro-Atlanta area, this two-part event hosted by Atlanta Braves in-game host, Mark Owens, is geared toward families first (or those that just like to get to bed early) during Early Innings and a more traditional party for Late Innings.
The Lucky Band kicks off our Early Innings celebrations at 6 p.m. on the Georgia Power Pavilion stage. The Lucky Band has been called ‘THE face of kindie music’ by the Washington Post and ‘The Rolling Stones of Kids Music’ by the Style Network. Husband and wife Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis have solidified their place in children’s music as stars of EMMY award winning PBS show “Lishy Lou and Lucky Too” and are sure to become a new family favorite. Early Innings ends with a countdown to the inflatable baseball balloon drop at 8pm, allowing families with young children to celebrate with an earlier evening.
Guests looking to ring in the New Year on a later note can enjoy Late Innings beginning at 9 p.m. with a live music from performance from fan favorite The 12 South Band. Returning for their fourth year, 12 South Band, based in Nashville brings a high-energy and non-stop show featuring all eras and genres of music, choreography, outfit changes, and fun crowd interaction. The evening will close with a midnight countdown featuring an unforgettable firework and confetti display over Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta.
