No chance of a cruel summer with this drink in hand—behold a twist on a classic. Drew Fancher, the founder of The Forum, is known for his attention to detail; this drink is no exception. The sour is made with demerara syrup–a richer, elevated version of simple syrup with more depth to its flavor. Its fresh lime and pineapple juice provide a tropical experience perfect for summer. Topped off with a sweet spritz of atomized mezcal and balanced with a dash of cayenne pepper, we can’t wait to get our hands on one of these because there is no doubt it will be our go-to summer sip.
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 oz anejo tequila
0.75 oz demerara syrup
0.75 oz lime juice
0.75 oz pineapple juice
Spritz of atomized mezcal
GARNISH:
Dash of cayenne pepper
