Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta (@hyattcentricbuckheadatl) is the newest hotel in town, and let’s just say, the vibes are immaculate. Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta’s lobby features chic earthy tones and textures that nod to the history of Georgia’s pottery industry.
The girls that get it, get it—and know that between its insanely aesthetic rooftop bar, groovy Montreal-style steakhouse and jaw-dropping interiors, the new Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta is the place to be seen this winter. Indeed, Buckhead has hit the jackpot yet again with the newly bowed 15-story hotel. “Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood is known to be the heart of ATL’s fashion, dining, entertainment and nightlife,” says general manager Kristi Cotten-Morris. “The location makes Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta a launchpad for guests to explore all that the destination has to offer.” Cotten-Morris and Yajaira Torres, director of sales and marketing, bring four decades of experience in the hospitality industry to the property, not to mention their impeccable tastes. What can we say? Girls just do it better. Design firm Sawyer & Company collaborated with The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry to create the hotel’s chic interiors, which nod to Georgia’s history of clay, pottery and sculpture. Think details such as wallpaper reminiscent of ceramic glaze and earthy color schemes complemented by bold graphics. James Beard Award-winning chef Hugh Acheson helms both dining concepts—Spaceman, an ubercool indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge serving craveable cocktails on the 15th floor, and Mount Royal, a steakhouse combining French cooking techniques with wares from the finest local farmers and artisans in the Southeast. Staycation, anyone?
