Mummies and Mixers

| November 2, 2016 | Parties

It was the Michael C. Carlos Museum’s turn to go bump in the night at their sold-out fall party on October 27th. VIPs started the evening with an exclusive tour of the Egyptian galleries with Curator Melinda Hartwig before heading upstairs to join the fun. Costume-clad guests sampled devilishly delicious treats from some of Atlanta’s favorite caterers and tasted two spine-tingling cocktails mixed by Julian Goglia of The Pinewood Tippling Room, The Mercury, and Proof Cocktail Syrups. Liquid Sky helped everyone get into the spirit as they painted faces and showcased a live digital artist, and fans of classic Hollywood horror scoped out Boris Karloff in The Mummy in a secluded screening room. The costumes, masks, and hats set the stage for a truly spook-tacular evening that we’ll all be howling for again next year!
