Mamma Mia!, the musical sensation that has captured the hearts of millions around the globe, is arriving in Atlanta next month, bringing an all-star cast, beloved scores and dazzling sets to Fox Theatre.
Honoring the 25th anniversary of the smash musical hit, the tour will bring a one-week limited engagement lineup to the city from Feb. 25 through Mar. 2, 2025, as part of the Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2024 and 2025 session.

The show takes visitors on a spirited journey as a bride-to-be and her mom prepare for a grand wedding day in the Greek islands, meet three possible dads and celebrate the upcoming nuptials with dear friends and family.
The production is brought to life with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, dazzling choreography by Anthony Van Laast, writing by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and design by Mark Thompson.

Additionally, the musical sensation features lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
Following its Broadway debut in 2001, the show played for a record-breaking 14 years, traveling to the Winter Garden Theatre and Broadhurst Theatre and touring North America with four companies from 2000 to 2017.

Since its 2008 release, Mamma Mia! The Movie became the highest-grossing live-action musical film, with production by Judy Craymer and a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Lily James and Cher. The movie’s sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again premiered in 2018, garnering acclaim as the most successful live musical sequel.
The North American tour of Mamma Mia! is booked by The Booking Group with casting by Tara Rubin Casting, production by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal and executive production by Amy Jacobs of Bespoke Theatricals in association with Work Light Productions.
