Did you see Maluma and Emily Ratajkowski at the Met Gala last night? The Colombian singer and American model were both decked out in head-turning Versace, and while you can’t quite get those exact looks, you can get a piece of their Medusa action.
Mr. Papi Juancho and the supermodel actress have been named as the stars of the Italian luxury brand’s Spring-Summer 2022 eyewear campaign. The two were photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, styled so as to bring out the Roman god and goddess within.

It's no regular eyewear campaign. This one is absolutely notorious, because it’s all about re-inventing and reigniting the passion for the Medusa Biggie style. These shades were made famous in the ‘90s by none other than Biggie Smalls, aka the Notorious B.I.G., aka one of the best darn rappers to ever do it.
For this style, it’s all about the golden hardware, and that classic finish is brought to life on seven modern frames. The VE 2248s are oversized yet subtle with large, feminine lenses cradled in sleek, barely-there gold rim. The VE 2249s are likewise slim, though this time, the frame comes in unisex black with a pilot shape.

The VE 4424U goes bold with chunky frames to match oversize lenses, striking a stark look in white or transparent red and fuschia. The VE 4425U mirrors that mode with a unisex, universal fit in turqoise or black.
Coming in with the classic steez is the VE 4426BU in oversized oval acetate, styled in either black or white. CLear frames also get some love from the subtle and slim VE 1283 and the thick-rimmed VE 3320U.
