When venturing down to State Farm Arena, expect to find your favorite sports game and the utlimate fan experience. Although they are renowned for a good time, adding to that experience is Kevin Hart’s (@kevinhart4real) newfound partnership, merging his tequila brand, Gran Coramino Tequila, with everything that makes a Hawks game or concert so memorable. The comedian, writer and actor has spent many a moon in the A, filming and interacting with the entertainment community that has grown exponentially in the past couple of decades. Masters of their crafts, Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, a Mexican businessman, bonded over their love for tequila in none other than Tequila, Mexico, sparking an idea to craft their own. Starting with the Cristilino iteration, the spirit soon became a bestseller in the market, and then, they ventured into the Añejo territory, expanding the brand and its variety.
But why State Farm? It’s no secret that Hart had sold out shows back in 2022 and has always been an avid supporter of the arena, so when the team at State Farm looked to revamp the premier fan experience, Hart took advantage of the opportunity to show more Atlantans their delicious tequila and make it a go-to for citygoers looking for a spirit staple in their repertoire. “This partnership marries two of my biggest passions: sports and tequila. Last year, I made State Farm Arena a stop on my comedy tour, but this year, I wanted to find a way to connect with the Hawks and venue long-term,” says Hart. Not only have Hart and Beckmann been intentional with partnerships, but they genuinely strive to create the best tequila. The Critalino is matured in Eastern European oak barrels, finished in California cabernet wine casks, then slow-filtered to develop a crystalclear and delectable smooth tequila with a sweet berry twist. The Añejo is matured in both American and French oak barrels for 12 months and then blended with Añejo reserves matured in excognac casks. Needless to say, JEZ can’t wait to get our hands on this new expression of tequila.
