Just Say Om

1. SUP Yoga
Let Mother Nature be your mat and better your balance by taking your practice to the standup paddleboard. Walk on water? Pssh—try headstand on water. (Winning!) Atlanta SUP & Yoga at Vann’s Tavern Park, group classes from $30, private classes/lessons available by request, Roswell

2. Anti-Gravity Yoga
Get your Cirque du Soleil on by taking your practice to another level—literally. Go aerial by busting out beautiful yoga poses while suspended in silks (bonus: aerial yoga relieves spinal tension). Who needs gravity? See, the sky really is the limit. Sky Gym, $25 drop-in, packages from $65, Sandy Springs

3. Barre Flow
Raise the barre by fusing yoga flow into classic barre sequences with increased stretching and relaxation poses. Your inner prima ballerina will thank you. Namaste. Pink Barre, $23 drop-in, packages from $99, Emory Point

4. Disco Yoga
If you’re feelin’ a lil’ “Saturday night fever,” stretch that groove thing with some yoga with a twist. The last Friday of every month, Powerlady offers fitness remixes such as Yoga Funk, Disco Yoga and more. Can ya dig it? Powerlady, $15 drop-in, packages from $45, Toco Hills, @powerladyatl

5. Acro Yoga
Make your practice a playground (people pyramids, anyone?) by merging power acrobatics, the wisdom of yoga and the healing arts into fluid form. Sacred Thread Yoga, $15 drop-in, packages from $65, Old Fourth Ward, @sacredthreadom

6. Extreme Yoga
If you’re looking to spend more time upside down, tap into your Spidey senses and inversion it up at onlYoga’s Flight Club class—a more vigorous vinyasa where you’ll find your edge while toning, tightening and testing your balance with head-, hand- and armstands. Totally badass. onlYoga, $18 drop-in, packages from $66, Midtown, @onlyoga

7. Hot Yoga
Bend it like Bikram in 105 degrees (the heat makes you more flexible) at the ultimate sweaty sanctuary. From power vinyasas to standard static Hot 26 poses, the supersweaty (detox!), superflex flow (and those lbs melting off) will make ya wanna say “om.” Atlanta Hot Yoga, $18 drop-in, packages from $65, Buckhead, @atlantahotyoga

8. Aqua Yoga
You: all weightless and buoyant. Your practice: all chill and no-impact. It’s like Michael Phelps meets Buddha (OK, if Phelps did asanas on a noodle). Good for all ages and fitness levels, the fusion of flowing and floating makes for some serious aqua therapy. The Healing Room at Adamsville Recreation Center and Natatorium, $18 drop-in, packages from $60, Collier Park

9. Heavy Metal Yoga
If you wanna lil’ more mojo to your flow, side plank to Slayer and meditate to Metallica (no, really) while you get bendy to weekly themed bands-o-blast beats via a blend of Anusara Yoga and Kali Natha Yoga with other influences in the mix. Tough Love Yoga, drop-in $10, packages from $100, Candler Park, @toughloveyoga

10. Hoops and Ropes and Trampolines, Oh My!
No matter how you spin it, bending is trending. Look for more hybrid forms to hit the A soon. From Hoop Vinyasa (think hula) and Trampoline Yoga to Rope Yoga (like aerial, but using rope walls, not ceilings) and Fizzy Yoga (a mix of physical therapy and Physiyoga) which Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall credits for “saving her life”—an endorsement setting the hot trend fully ablaze. Hey, we’ll try anything sexy enough for Samantha.
