At Stone Mountain Park, this year’s festivities are a multi-day affair beginning July 1st and ending on the 4th. Guests can expect attractions such as a scenic railroad tour, high-speed Swiss cable car ride and live entertainment throughout the day. After nightfall, the celebration continues with a Lasershow Spectacular followed by a patriotic fireworks display.
Ring in the holiday weekend on July 2nd with live music by The Block Party Experience at Newtown Park. The action-packed celebration will include food trucks such as the Mercedes Benz Stadium Truck, Bento Bus and Steel City Pops. After sunset, a fireworks extravaganza will top off the evening.
The historic town of Norcross provides the perfect backdrop for celebrating Independence Day. Head to the heart of the downtown district on July 3rd for an evening of bounce houses, festive face painting, an assortment of food vendors and, of course, fireworks.
No 4th of July weekend is complete without a parade, and the Marietta Freedom Parade intends to pull out all of the stops with two thousand participants consisting of marching units from local bands, civic organizations, National Guard members, local businesses and more. After the parade, festivals such as the Arts and Crafts show and concerts await guests, followed by fireworks and patriotic music.
This annual celebration is known for its incredible fireworks display, taking place at dusk over Lake Peachtree. Beginning at 9AM at Village on the Green and ending at Mcintosh Trail Recreation Center, the parade is also not to be missed.
