With the launch of its fall menu, we reflect on how HOBNOB has grown into a neighborhood staple while simultaneously evolving and respecting the past.
Familiar foods, atmosphere, and entertainment are how Sean Yeremyan, CEO of Big Table Restaurants, describes the vibe of HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern, his elevated sports bar concept that’s grown to six locations across the metro area.

What began with one Midtown location in 2010 has increased to a footprint spanning all sides of the perimeter: Atlantic Station, Alpharetta, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Vinings and Peachtree City. As Yeremyan, a 25-year restaurateur with a degree in restaurant management, has grown the brand and the business, his focus has remained the same for the menu: do the classics well.
“About 60-70% of today’s menu is the same as our original one from 2010,” says Yeremyan. “We’re focused on the American classics and doing them well.”

Creating a classically American dining experience was part of the motivation for launching HOBNOB years ago. As one of the first beer-driven restaurants in Atlanta, HOBNOB set itself apart by offering an expansive craft beer menu, many of which weren’t available elsewhere in the area.
Fast forward 10 years, and the access to craft brews has increased dramatically. How did HOBNOB pivot? By offering about 200 to 300 bourbons and whiskeys at every location. Whether you prefer a beer or bourbon, you’ll find your choice of classics to pair with it. HOBNOB’s menu is familiar yet elevated, from a Reuben sandwich to half a dozen burger options to Yeremyan’s favorite, the fish and chips. If you’re looking for a step above evelated, Yeremyan’s new concept, Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar in Halycon, is a chef-curated fine dining experience that ups the ante.
Combine that familiar fare and endless drink options with every sports game—showing on over twenty TVs at each location—and you’ve got the recipe for your favorite neighborhood tavern. Multiple locations,hobnobatlanta.com
