Sixteen of Atlanta’s top mixologists from restos like The Optimist, Gypsy Kitchen and Himitsu spiked and stirred their own signature drinks in a competition at the High Museum of Art’s annual Highball, and the city’s cocktail aficionados snagged front-row seats. Nine Mile Station’s Randy Hayden took home this Luxury Mixologist title for his Garden Gimlet concocted with gin, cherry tomatoes and garden herbs, while Jessica Smith of West Midtown’s Urban Tree Cidery was awarded Top-Shelf Mixologist for her Black Panther-inspired Milaje cocktail.
