5:15am: First thing after waking up, I catch up on all of my favorite podcasts, like The Skinny Confidential for tips on all things beauty, skincare and business; and The Dave Ramsey Show for financial planning.
5:45am: I like to squeeze in a morning workout with Barre3’s at-home program. The rest of my day is superbusy, so if I want to get in a good sweat session, it almost always has to be in the morning.
7:30am: I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair besides the talented ladies at Drybar Buckhead, especially Kalea Cauthen. I like to work in a quick hair appointment before heading to work. I always get the Dirty Martini!
9am: When I arrive at work, I start by merchandising the floor and touching base with clients. As a team of stylists, we run through what our goals are for the day, what tasks we each need to do and how we can have the most productive day at work. I’m lucky enough to work with some of the most amazing, inspiring women, who keep me motivated daily. Every morning is different, but always fast-paced and always involving work on at-home personal style boxes featuring new arrivals and completely handpicked outfits for
our clients.
NOON: After a busy morning, there is nothing I love more than to run to my favorite coffee shop, Dancing Goats Coffee Bar; pop in my AirPods; and just enjoy some me-time. I find that it is so important to have that balance and it’s what keeps me going throughout the day—my alone time and a good latte!
12:45pm: I’m all about a light, healthy lunch, and one of my local favorites is Flower Child at Shops Around Lenox. The organic kale salad with grilled chicken and a lemonade is my go-to.
2pm: Once I’m well-fed and caffeinated, it’s back to work at Alice + Olivia. In the life of a stylist, no two days are the same, and that’s what I love about what I do. What people don’t know is that being a stylist isn’t just about picking out someone’s outfits and putting pieces together; it’s about creating that one-on-one personal relationship with our clients and giving them the personal Alice + Olivia experience. My goal by the end of the day is to make an impact on every customer I’ve encountered, and if I can achieve that, then I’ve done my job!
6pm: One of the most important factors in my job is networking. Late afternoons call for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail at The Southern Gentleman, one of my Buckhead favorites. I always feel right at home when I’m there with a Scarlet Belle cocktail in hand.
11pm: After a long day, I enjoy getting cozy and watching Netflix with a glass of wine—anything I can binge-watch, from Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy to How to Get Away With Murder.
