In early February, Gypsy Kitchen in Buckhead Village re-opened its doors to reveal its refreshed interiors just in time for the warmer months. With a vibrant new atmosphere, every corner invites guests to embark on a fresh culinary adventure. “Our team has spent the past few weeks immersed in a design refresh for Gypsy Kitchen,” says Chris Hadermann, Southern Proper Hospitality Group managing partner and CEO. “While it was a small window of time that focused attention will have a significant impact on the atmosphere and guest experience.”
Every visit to Gypsy Kitchen feels like a celebration—of the romance of travel, culinary curiosity and joyful connections made over a terrific meal.

The menu of shared plates is formatted so you can wander and explore to your heart’s content. The refreshed environment only enhances their Pan-Mediterranean-style plates, like Harissa Chicken, Village Salad, or Grilled Lamb Sirloin.
Vintage artwork and nostalgic family photos decorate the walls, perfectly offset by antique mirrors, light fixtures, and modernized textiles. Giving a subtle nod to the gypsy aesthetic, modernized textiles such as wallpaper and draper offer a lighter, more modern take. “Just like the beautiful collections of a well-traveled gypsy, the details of our design will continue to develop and evolve,” adds Kim Fong, Southern Proper Hospitality Group’s director of art and style.
As the spring and summer months roll in, Gypsy Kitchen’s patio is calling. Whether you are savoring exotic flavors or enjoying creative cocktails, a new adventure awaits at this iconic rooftop restaurant. 3035 Peachtree Road NE Ste. A209, gk-atl.com
