Going Green

By Allison Mitchell | September 12, 2016 | Articles National

As we creep toward Halloween, a rising Canadian actress and her cast of supernatural friends have landed in A-Town. Returning for its fourth season in early 2017 on FOX, Sleepy Hollow follows actress Lyndie Greenwood (who plays relic-hunting badass Jenny Mills) as she fights the apocalypse alongside the legendary Ichabod Crane. Here, JEZ catches up with Greenwood during her stay in Atlanta. @lyndieloohoo

Give us a sneak peek of the new season of Sleepy Hollow.
I have loved playing Jenny because her arc over the last three seasons has been interesting and unexpected. We saw her open up in many ways—her relationship with her sister grew; she came to trust Crane; and she even had a relationship with Joe Corbin. All of this came crashing down in the last two episodes of the third season when she lost not only her boyfriend, but her sister as well. We’ll see how all of this loss affects her this season.

What’s on your DVR this season?
I know I’m really late to the party, but I just started watching Mr. Robot, [and] I’m absolutely loving it.

What do you love most about Atlanta?
I love the food in this town. My favorite burger ever is from The Argosy in East Atlanta Village. There’s awesome barbecue everywhere, but I often go to Fox Bros. [Bar-B-Q] because they have amazing wings, and they’re so close to where I live. [I also enjoy] margaritas at Bartaco and [go to] Elmyr for a burrito and a Grizz—a bottle of Corona [topped] with a shot of tequila.
