Glam Patrol with Lena Franklin

Growing up in pastoral Leesburg, Va., with a psychologist father from Marietta and a Vietnamese Buddhist mother, Lena Franklin was introduced to the concept of meaningful living early on, and began envisioning ways to share the transformative tools of mindfulness and meditation in a therapeutic setting. After a soccer scholarship led her to the University of Georgia, Franklin stayed in Athens to earn her masters in social work, and ultimately founded her private practice as a psychotherapist and meditation instructor here in ATL. “I offer mindfulness in a modern, fresh way to help you live your own best life,” says the 32-year-old, who splits her time between her Buckhead condo and home at Serenbe. “My favorite thing about my work is that I get the honor of witnessing other human beings awaken to their highest selves; I’m constantly humbled by the courage of human spirits!” Discover Franklin’s health and beauty essentials here; then get your om on alongside the brunette beauty at her Abundant Living Meditation Retreat at Serenbe Oct. 6 and 7. @mindful_healer
