Gathering of Gourmands

| June 30, 2011 | Parties

The Place: Tasting tents in Midtown. The Cause: Atlanta Food & Wine Festival. The Buzz: The first-ever Atlanta Food & Wine Festival united some of the nation’s most talented chefs, mixologists and sommeliers in celebration of the rich culinary traditions of the South. The weekend long affair featured something for every food fanatic—from tasting seminars and cooking demos to a late-night street cart party and exclusive dining experiences. Chefs like John Besh, The Lee Brothers and Michelle Bernstein shared their expertise on the festival’s three key themes: Old Traditions, New Traditions, and Imports and Inspirations.
