NOON TO NIGHT FASHION SHOW
The annual Noon to Night Fashion Show returns, and it’s completely transforming Avalon Boulevard into an enchanting runway ready to showcase the best of fall fashion trends. Benefiting Bert’s Big Adventure—a nonprofit that provides an unforgettable trip to Walt Disney World for terminally ill children—the annual event never fails to bring out your childish spirit as you watch strong kids join celebrity models to strut their stuff down the runway. The evening kicks off with a cocktail reception and a live auction—both of which are not to be missed. Alpharetta, @avaloninsider

STAVE 54
The three ingredients needed for an unforgettable night? Cocktails, drag queen performances and a DJ. It’s a proven fact (trust us), and it just so happens to be everything you’ll find at this year’s Lost-n-Found Youth event, dubbed Stave 54. Taking place inside The Stave Room at American Spirit Works, the whiskey distillery in ATL’s up-and-coming Armour Yards neighborhood just off the BeltLine’s Northside Trail, Lost-n-Found welcomes guests donning their best Studio 54-inspired garb for the hippest, funkiest fete of the year. Enjoy small plates, silent auctions, comedians and endless forms of entertainment as we work to break donation records and take homeless LGBTQ+ youth off of the streets once and for all. @lost.n.found.youth

SCAD ANIMATIONFEST
SCAD’s annual AnimationFest returns, exploring new frontiers of digital creativity, animation and visual effects. Expect three days of special screenings, panels with titans of animation and a few surprises along the way as you explore your creative mind with the experts behind motion media design and gaming. You’ll even get to learn a few tips and tricks of the trade from the best in the biz. Also on the schedule: highlighting the work of SCAD alumni (graduates from the Schools of Entertainment Arts and Digital Arts) who have gone on to become leaders in their creative careers, plus the feature debut of collaborative work from SCAD’s top students. While the festival is typically hosted at SCAD’s Atlanta campus, this year’s rendition will remain virtual. @scaddotedu

XFINITY MOVIE SERIES
Just because baseball season is over doesn’t mean you have to part ways with The Battery Atlanta until next year. Launching Oct. 29, the Xfinity Movie Series returns to the Plaza Green through December, with classic favorites like Jurassic World, Back to the Future and Christmastime favorite The Grinch on deck this season. Make a night of it and stop by Ph’East, The Battery Atlanta’s industrial-style food court, for some tasty Asian cuisine and a few cocktails to pair, of course. Keep the night alive post-screening with a few lively games of beer pong at Live at the Battery. You’ll be riding that bull before long. 800 Battery Ave. SE, @batteryatl
