This fall, score a rare exclusive look at Christian Siriano's career-highlight designs, on view at SCAD Museum of Art Sept. 24
He first captured America’s attention in 2007 after becoming the youngest designer to win Project Runway. Fourteen years later, Christian Siriano is one of the most iconic names in high fashion. Now, the industry trailblazer is unveiling his next big venture—and it just so happens to be in our neck of the woods. Debuting Sept. 24 at SCAD Museum of Art (@scadmoa) in Savannah, People Are People showcases the designer’s whimsical gowns and showstopping red-carpet looks worn by the likes of music legends Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez; LGBTQ heroes Billy Porter and Laverne Cox; actress Sarah Jessica Parker; and pop heroes Lizzo and Nicki Minaj. “It’s a celebration of people and all of their beauty,” shares Siriano of his first solo museum exhibition. “It has always been my dream to create and inspire others, especially a young generation, and I hope this exhibit does just that.” While the complete collection resides in Savannah, Atlantans can still get a coveted look at three of Siriano’s gowns, on display at SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film (@scadfash) through Jan. 30, 2022.
