For their 14th location, PLANTA (@planta), believes in the power of a plant-based diet in stunning environments and is bringing that ethos to Buckhead. This location transports guests into traditional interpretations of Chinese courtyards through elegant accents that harken to the architectural gems found throughout Asia. While the design is stunning, the menu is just as intriguing, with intricate items that will satisfy your palate. Their well-known dishes, from local cuisine to seasonal ingredients, meet the city’s typical fare. Founded by CEO Steven Salm and co-founder and executive chef David Lee, Planta has a culture of sustainability. They execute this experience by focusing on the quality of their product, the people with whom they work, those they serve and the pillar of plants. In everything they do, these components are the reason for delicious dishes in front of you, along with their luxe vibe perfect for Buckhead. Now, Atlanta can be in on all of the fan favorites. Feast your taste buds on unagi eggplant nigiri, ahi watermelon nigiri, spinach shiitake, udon noodles, their signature bang bang broccoli, an array of dumplings and more. With the opportunity to curate a new menu in a new part of the city, they have done the works. Their sushi burrito wows with chicken fried mushrooms, ahi waterlemon, avocado, baby gem, cucumber and ginger, they kill it with a flavorful poke bowl, and the scallion pancake egg wrap is makes our mouths water. This Georgia location is just the tip of the iceberg, as they plan to bring the power of plants to more discerning patrons across the state.
