In light of COVID-19 stay at home mandates, for many that are able, working from home looks like sending emails and Zoom conference calls. But for professional creatives, working from home can actually be quite productive. For up and coming alternative artist KNDRGRTN, this quarantine has been beneficial in more ways than one.
“I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am in where I work from home a majority of the time,” says KNDRGRTN. “It is a very tough time for the world and every individual is being affected by it. The main things that have been helping me are communication with friends and family, diving further into music, and maintaining a healthy amount of time away from the Internet.”
After the release of his EP titled Sleeping With My Clothes On about two months ago, the young artist is excited to put out more music videos paired with the project. Originally inspired to create a series consisting of animated content.
“You can really push the boundaries creatively with animation,” he says. “You can execute things you can’t do in real life, building even off your imagination.”
Soon to release, the animated music video project will be a great addition to the overall listening and viewing experience for Sleeping With My Clothes On. Inspired by his life and time in Los Angeles over the past few years, Sleeping With My Clothes On embodies KNDRGRTN’s ever-changing experience in LA.
“The whole concept of Sleeping with My Clothes On is about constantly being on the move every day. Between making music, working, partying, and keeping up in Los Angeles, you come home at the end of the day and just crash.”
