The Place: Bill Lowe Gallery
The Cause: National Black Arts Festival
The Buzz: NBAF’s Contemporary Circle, along with Bill Lowe, Leo Marshall and Michael Boyd, hosted Art-Y, a fundraiser with the dual purpose of raising money for NBAF and educating its guests about the art world. Artist Michael David presented his Toreador exhibit, and modelturned-journalist Gail O’Neill and art writer Cinque Hicks gave a gallery talk to the crowd of well-heeled benefactors.
