Get out of your workout slump with the unique offerings of Sweat Cycle.

Get your heart pounding with Sweat Cycle, the revolutionary heated indoor cycling studio that recently arrived from Los Angeles to Atlanta’s stylish Buckhead neighborhood. Formerly The Sweat Shoppe, this female-owned-and-operated studio, founded in 2011, is located within the Forum Athletic Club at Lenox. With themed classes such as Throwback Thursdays, Hip Hop Ride and Trap Tuesdays (available to book online) there is a musically-powered session sure to please everyone.

So what should guests expect? Choose between the signature Sweat Cycle, a 55 minute ride, or the slightly shorter Express Cycle, which clocks in at 45 minutes. No need to worry if your cleat game is lacking, the studio offers complimentary shoe rentals for first time visitors. For those who want to invest in their own pair, we recommend LOOK Delta cleats or SPD cleats, which are accommodated by the studio’s double sided pedals. Other than that, all visitors need to show up with is water and the rest is provided (although, water is sold on location). Just be sure to show up a bit early for your first class so the instructor can help with proper bike set up.

According to studio owner Mimi Benz, the rejuvenating power of heat is well documented throughout history and offers benefits such as boosted athleticism, increased caloric burn and more. Rooms are heated to approximately 80 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit using infrared heating technology to promote detoxification, so be sure to hydrate before attending one of the transformative classes. And don’t let the heat intimidate you—all levels are welcome and everyone is encouraged to ride at their own pace!
