Ahh! It’s springtime, and with the change of the season comes fresh blooms, warmer temps and bare legs—and, to quench our thirst, new sips from the national craft-beer scene. Typically, lighter, lower-alcohol ales and lagers—“session beers,” if you will—are more popular during the hotter months (so that we can sip more of them while relaxing by the pool—duh). But we’re seeing a new trend this season: Light beers are sharing the stage with bolder concoctions that are extra hoppy, more aromatic, heavier bodied and downright potent. Here, a few of our faves: Bottoms up!
