Biscuit Run

By Chris Watkins | August 29, 2017 | Articles

Warm. Buttery. Flaky. The biscuit is the perfect vehicle for every manner of topping from savory to sweet, and Holler & Dash is behind the wheel steering guests’ cravings for the Southern staple into uncharted territory. With locations in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, the highly anticipated fast-casual biscuit house has planted its Georgia roots at Westside Ironworks. Satisfying sandwiches like the Kickback Chicken with goat cheese, green onion and sweet pepper jelly; the Pork Rambler with fried pork tenderloin, onion straws and blackberry butter; and the Garden Goat featuring fried goat cheese, kale and tomato jam are just a few ways to experience biscuit bliss at H&D. “We’ve spent a good amount of time exploring Atlanta food culture to really understand how to tailor our menu to Atlantans’ taste preferences,” says Culinary Director Brandon Frohne. And it shows in the brand’s collaboration with local purveyors like Springer Mountain Farms, Doux South Pickles and local craft breweries. “This city is thriving—the people are vibrant, fun, exciting, food-loving and looking for a good time,” says Frohne. And to that, we say, “Pass the butter!” @holleranddash
