Bank on Bonobos

By Allison Mitchell | January 13, 2015 | Articles

E-commerce comes to life with the opening of Atlanta’s first Bonobos Guideshop. Located at Buckhead Atlanta (next door to Theory and across from Le Bilboquet), the largest Internet-launched men’s clothing brand debuted Guideshops in 2011, allowing customers to feel and try on their ever popular casual and luxe staples before placing an online order. But these aren’t your average male threads— the apparel comes in a variety of fits (think slim, standard and tall slim) and can be tailored to your liking. Fit and style are the names of the game in this 1,150-square-foot space, where experts take the guesswork out of finding the right ensemble through a one-on-one retail experience. Need a tailored tux for that never-ending role as a groomsman? In the bag. Plaid button-up, quilted vest and a signature pair of chinos in an endless array of colors? You know it! Plus, by-appointment style sessions are always complimentary, so don’t sweat a hefty price tag. And here’s the inside scoop for ladies: The Guideshop plans to carry jeans in the new year from its recently launched women’s brand, AYR, which is all about essentials (like cashmere sweaters, silk blouses and timeless blazers). It’s the perfect excuse to make your beau think you’re shopping for him while scoring a little something special for yourself! @bonobos
