Atlantic Sation ushers in year 15 with a bevy of buzzworthy additions that you won't want to miss out on.
A panoramic view of Atlantic Station’s new additions
In 2005, Atlantic Station (@atlanticstation) opened its doors to become ATL’s premier shopping, dining and events destination. Since then, the iconic Midtown mixed-use development has seen its fair share of action, from food and wine festivals to tennis tournaments—and who could forget that epic Super Bowl LIII pregame concert? This year, Atlantic Station is gearing up for its most important event yet, its 15th anniversary. In the following months, Atlantic Station will welcome new restaurants, retailers and real estate.
From the infamous IKEA to the recently opened two-story Forever 21, there’s plenty of shopping to be done within Atlantic Station’s 138 acres. The area is home to nearly 30 stores, making it the premier shopping destination for the latest clothing, accessories, beauty and home decor. Highlights include Fab’rik and the Southeast’s flagship H&M. While you’re at it, be sure to stock up on home team gear at the new Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United Team Store, which offers an abundance of apparel, home decor and accessories to get you ready for game day.
Shop at stores like Forever 21 and H&M.
Whether you’re craving a sweet treat (like a hand-dipped candy apple from Kilwins) or a fresh poke bowl from Poke Bar, Atlantic Station has plenty of dining options to satisfy any appetite. New on the scene is The Pig & The Pearl. The casual Southern smokehouse serves a mean brisket and offers a daily variety of oysters from its in-house raw bar. Speaking of seafood, you won’t want to skip SriThai Kitchen’s Omakase by Yun. The reservation-only, 15-course experience is a seasonal assortment of exotic and local fish expertly prepared and presented with artistry and balance. The handcrafted American and Japanese plates pair perfectly with artisan sakes and handselected wines, which are right at home in the carveout’s intimate dining space. And, we can’t leave out the highly anticipated Azotea Cantina. The brand-new concept from the creators of Tacos & Tequilas will serve authentic Mexican dishes on an expansive rooftop patio.
The reimagined Atlantic Green
Make yourself at home in one of Atlantic Station’s condos, lofts or high-rise apartments. With over eight different residence types, there’s truly something for everyone. The area feels suburban thanks to its lush green spaces and walkability, but its proximity to Midtown ensures you’re never too far from the excitement. Property residents can also take advantage of Atlantic Station’s A-Card, which gives exclusive discounts and deals at the area’s boutique shopping and local dining spots.
Visitors can enjoy yoga and Pilates classes in addition to other Atlantic Green events.
Atlantic Station’s stacked social calendar means there’s never a dull moment. Yoga on Atlantic Green, outdoor festivals and movie nights are just a few of the activations scheduled throughout the year. Soon, the development will welcome Bowlero, a new kind of bowling experience. Black lights, lounge seating, floor-to-ceiling screens and a buzzy cocktail menu are just a few of the ways Bowlero puts its signature spin on the classic sport. Of course, you can’t forget about Atlantic Station’s iconic cinema, which has been a staple for the past 15 years.
