The masterminds behind Bellyard and Sugar Factory Atlanta have come together to create a few special drinks to help put your money where your mouth is.
Bellyard's Pink Lady cocktail
What’s better than sipping on your favorite tipple? Supporting a good cause while doing so. For the month of October, the owners of fan-favorite Sugar Factory Atlanta and newly opened tavern-style restaurant Drawbar have created delectable beverages in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Bellyard's Pink Señorita cocktail
Drawbar is the newest Southern-style spot on the Atlanta scene and has already been drawing quite the crowd. The restaurant offers eccentric takes on Southern classics and one-of-a-kind dishes using local ingredients. Famous for its carefully curated signature sips, the restaurant has created three new pink-inspired drinks. The featured drinks include The Pink Lady, a Brut rosé generously topped with a sweet pink cotton candy; The Pink Lotus, a craft cocktail with a base of Tito’s vodka, cherry syrup, and lemon juice, garnished with a pink rock candy stick (reminiscent of a grown-up Shirley Temple); and The Pink Señorita, a strawberry margarita made with strawberry basil syrup, exotico blanco tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and a pink salt or sugar rim.
Even sweeter than these drinks is that $2 of each cocktail sold will go to I Will Survive, a Georgia-based nonprofit organization which benefits those impacted by breast cancer. The organization provides economic support, prevention education, and health and wellness services to those at higher risk and affected by breast cancer.
The Sugar Factory's Think Pink Insane Milkshake
Sugar Factory Atlanta is perfect for anyone looking to have a drink with the entire family. Also in Midtown, Sugar Factory Atlanta boasts a retail store, café and full-service restaurant. This October the brasserie is offering the Think Pink Insane Milkshake (try saying that five-times fast). The decadent drink is a blend of creamy strawberry ice cream and velvety vanilla soft serve served in a mug dipped in light pink ganache and decorated with pink sprinkles and a Hubba Bubba ribbon. It’s topped with whipped cream, pink pearls, a candy necklace and a whirly pop. The proceeds from this dessert will also be donated to organizations working to further breast cancer research.
