The word that comes to mind when looking at Atlanta-based stylist and fashion designer Metta Conchetta (@metta) is bold. Inspired by her international treasures, hailing from Germany, she takes risks and brings a unique perspective to the industry. Her eye for style has caught the attention top of celebrities, one among those being Jack Harlow. Much of her stylistic bend comes from the works of Karl Lagerfeld and Ricardo Tisci, and when combined with her own natural talent, she can style for commercial campaigns, magazine photoshoots and experimental lookbooks.

Most recently, she has launched her own collection, ATTEM. “After being a celebrity stylist for more than eight years and the accomplishments of all my stylist goals, I had another calling,” Metta reflects, “And this calling was to start my own clothing brand. A brand that represents me but also style. And for me, it’s important to play with either oversize shapes or basics to give everybody a playground to try and style my clothing.” Debuting the campaign with Soho House and partnering with Cities Without Houses Atlanta to bring guests together, “We held the event in Atlanta and spent months planning our collective launch - decor, photography, film screening, guest listing, shopping, among many other event logistics,” she says, “SOHO House was the dream partner to unveil our debut collection.” And why Atlanta? “she says, “I know people wonder why ATL and not NYC or L.A., but I see a big potential here!” Her line sparked conversation and made a statement with crisp lines and pops of color. Because of her intimate knowledge of the fashion industry, she is able to merge aesthetics from the avant-garde to the effervescent in both her aura and design intent. Currently, she is putting pen to paper for a footwear collection, jewelry launch and dabbling in leather. It’s the feeling of seeing your work while passing a kiosk or newsstand in your daily life keeps the drive alive.
