Jay-Z wants you to sip until your cup runneth over.
Debuting the holy grail of his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac Champagne has unveiled its first-ever vintage release.
The Blanc de Noirs Vintage 2015 cuvée is a blend of 70 percent Pinot Noir grapes and 30 percent Pinot Meunier. Marking Armand de Brignac’s continued mission to offer luxury Champagne for a generation, the new release retails for $3,400.
It will be available at select retailers around the world starting in November.
However, you’ll want to start keeping your eye out now. Just 1,258 bottles were created.
Each inscribed with a unique number 1 to 1,258, the metalized bottles are hand-finished with French pewter labels and a final polishing. The end-stage perfecting process comes after the wine matured in cellars for more than seven years until it was disgorged on Feb. 8.
A rare collectible, the 1.5L magnum bottle is an expert choice to share and toast with during special moments.
The Blanc de Noirs Vintage 2015 promises more than a satisfying sip; it is a complex, but elegant libation journey. You’ll notice the essence of almond, plum, cinnamon, strawberries and clementine, which are balanced by a light touch of violet flower. Meanwhile, the palate features an eclectic teaming of almond, praline, chocolate, grapefruit, white peach and a blend of spices. It then takes a bow with notes of strawberries, blackcurrant and clove, then ending with hints of gingerbread, orange and the essence of licorice.
The craftsmen at Armand de Brignac Champagne draw from more than 250 years of experience in the northern section of the Champagne wine region in France. Paired with the luxury and entrepreneurial dexterity of owners Jay-Z and LVMH, Armand de Brignac always delivers on its range of prestige cuvées.
