Scroll through the Insta feeds of Atlanta’s most influential and you’re likely to find the work of Alexandria Murray, the go-to photographer for the city’s most followed females.
Atlanta’s most Insta-famous influencers have something in common, and it isn’t the latest Gucci belt. Her name is Alexandria Murray, and she’s the go-to fashion photographer for bloggers like Harrison White, Chandler DeHart and Sarah Wisted, to name a few.
So, how does one start working with such an esteemed girl gang? Like the best relationships, it starts over coffee or rosé. “I want to hear what they like, what images they are drawn to, what look they are going for and how they want people to feel when they come across their images,” says Murray. “I shoot and edit for their brand. I am here to bring their vision to life.” It’s no wonder she’s trusted to set the tone for the city’s most famous feeds.
Her own aesthetic, the street photographer admits, “came from a lot of trial and error, and finding what my eye gravitated to the most.” Now, she opts for muted cooler-tone images and draws inspiration from her surroundings: “Downtown is my absolute love,” she says. “From the architecture to the muted color palette, it’s my brand in a nutshell.” @vivaluxphotography
