Alexander McQueen is one of the boldest designers in high fashion, and come March, the brand brings its futuristic looks and cutting-edge attitude to our very own streets.
After stints in Las Vegas and Miami, the Alexander McQueen pop-up store comes to Lenox Square for a three-month visit, opening Tuesday, March 1, until the end of May.

Right from the first steps, McQueen’s wild style makes its mark. The pop-up strikes a sleek silhouette, enclosed by glass with a metal frame. Inside the store, luxury and sophistication await, with oak and walnut floors and display tables, but of course, it’s all about the wares.
The brand opened its first pop-up store in 2019 at Harrods, a luxury department store in London. The store’s visit means customers may have access to exclusive clothes or accessories, and Atlanta’s shop is confirmed to feature items from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2022 line, which launched just this week.
Mixing tulles and leather, patterns with embroidery, soft materials and hard silhouettes, the collection makes a punk-rock statement with fierce intensity. It takes someone with real spirit to rock these looks, and we think Atlanta is just the place.
Blue sky prints with fluffy white clouds feature prominently on dresses, jackets, tops and bottoms; as do black leather tops, bottoms, bras and more. Shoes, bags, earrings, and other accessories make their way into the offerings, all set to match dazzling clothing pieces decked out with ornate silver embroidery.
The collection was showcased in a rousing and moody film clip by British music video director Sophie Muller. Titled “Storm Chasing,’” the three-minute film elevates the clothes—literally—as models move languid above city rooftops. The clothes appear flowy and mysterious, with large bows and twirling tulle.
You can also catch glimpses of the collection on the brand’s Instagram page, getting a closer look at the more elaborate pieces. More close-ups can be seen in the SS22 Campaign IG story reel.
