Glam Patrol (exist) - 23

By Caroline Cox | August 1, 2016 | Articles

From growing up in Johns Creek to graduating from Georgia Tech, Miss Georgia 2016 Patricia Ford, 22, is a local girl through and through. The current Lindbergh dweller with a B.S. in business administration has previously held titles including Miss Cherokee Rose 2014, Miss Cobb County 2015 and Miss Capital City 2016, and she’ll compete for the Miss America crown Sept. 11. But don’t be fooled—this bombshell boasts way more than outer beauty. Of her post-pageant goals, she says, “I love business and the idea of starting something of my own, or working in marketing for an organization that I already love.” Plus, it’s clear she takes none of the glitz and glam for granted. “Real girls who are busy working hard to make a real paycheck don’t always get the luxury of being pampered, and that’s OK,” says Ford. “But it is nice to save up for a massage every once in a while to help with mental health and wellness—and it’s important [for] women to treat themselves every so often!” Here, we get Ford to open up her makeup bag and share what keeps her ready to take the stage with a smile. @patriciaford_, @missamericaga
