For 32-year-old Sandy Springs native Molly Jane Gravitt, design has been in her bones since day one. “As a child, I used to spend hours playing dress-up and messing around with my mother’s costume jewelry,” recalls the Kennesaw State University alum. After graduating with a degree in communications, Gravitt headed to the corporate world but couldn’t quite shake her passion for fashion. In 2012, she began making jewelry and quickly launched Molly Jane Designs, a booming bauble brand featuring necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings that boast geode gems, colorful beads and an array of metals. Now, she’s amping up her accessories brand with a hot new handbag line. From luxe leopard to rich bordeaux leather shades, her latest collection will take you from the desk to dinner in a snap thanks to crossbody bags that convert into clutches. Scoop her swank styles at Tulipano in Buckhead and look for Gravitt to pop up in more retailers throughout 2016. Here, she gives us a peek at what’s inside her well-crafted handbag. @mollyjdesigns
